OBJECTIVE To lay down a procedure for Maintenance of Bore well Pump
SCOPE This SOP is applicable to bore well Pump, Capacity: 34 m3 /HR.
RESPONSIBILITY Technical Supervisor / Engineer
ACCOUNTABILITY Sr.Executive / Manager
PROCEDURE Monthly Maintenance Clean the contactors with CTC / CRC.
Ensure the pump load should be in between 7.5-10 Amps
Ensure no water leakages from pump and pipe lines .
Check and ensure cable glands are tight.
Ensure the earthing, which is connected to the pump, should also be connected to earth grid by checking with earth megger.
Clean the control panel with air blower.
Put a Tick mark (Ö) in Monthly Check Sheet after completion of each activity. If it is not O.K put a cross (X) in Monthly Check Sheet indicating the reason in remarks column.
Immediately inform to the concern superior if it is not O.K (X) and take necessary corrective action as per the advice.
Any such deviations should be maintained in the Machine History Cord along with necessary corrective action and its complaints there of.
Yearly Maintenance
Check and replace the valves if valves are not functioning
Calibrate the pressure gauges.
Put a Tick mark (Ö) in Yearly Check Sheet.
